My story...

My passion to help sober and sober curious women began when I ended my own relationship with alcohol in January 2017.

Having done the dance of trying to stop drinking, moderate, etc. only to return to the bottle started to take its toll on me.

However, during my final bender, something deep inside me clicked-

I wanted to start living life on MY terms rather than by the terms of another wine bottle.

Right away I leaned into a fitness routine to not only help me stay sober, but to improve my mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I also slowly cleaned up my diet to eat more simple, whole foods. I journaled, read, did yoga, and made sure to rest whenever possible.

After awhile, I began to really see a number of unexpected changes, such as...

I lost 20lbs.

My anxiety decreased.

My relationship with my husband and our three children vastly improved.

I challenged myself more often with new hobbies, places, and people.

Mornings were way brighter and delightful!

Friendships grew deeper and more abundant.

I could hear God more clearly in my heart.

Because of all of these incredible changes, as well as my ever-growing passion for fitness, I decided to hit pause on my career as a high school counselor and return to school to earn a Master’s degree in Exercise Science. I also became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and IAPRC Professional Life and Recovery Coach.

I am also a SHE RECOVERS® Coach, which means I am trained in and my work aligns with the SHE RECOVERS® Intentions and Guiding Principles.

Helping and supporting others is both a passion and a gift I wish to share whole-heartedly! Therefore, it would be my absolute pleasure to support you in your own Teetotally Fit journey!
